South London based producer / composer Axel introduces his latest EP New Type, with the project’s superb lead single ‘Zero’.

Combining elements of dubstep, drum & bass, hip-pop and classical music, 20 year old EDM maestro Axel aims to create an experience for his listeners, or to simply entertain, depending on whatever he feels like doing. The broad-minded producer experienced his first taste of stardom when his orchestral medley of Lupe Fiasco‘s 2007 album The Cool became an online sensation, leading the rapper himself to share the project on his blog. This was swiftly followed by his debut EP Version, which gained considerable exposure itself, certifying Axel as a definite one to watch in the electronic music world.

Axel now presents ‘Zero’, the fantastic lead single from his New Type EP. The track delves straight into the deep and dark world of British bass music, with funky house beats, exotic melodies and warped bass lines enticingly leading the way to the dance floor.

BlackGirlsCODE heads south to Emory University in Atlanta, GA on July 28th, 2012 as part of their Summer of CODE 2012 national campaign – to give girls the opportunity to learn valuable skills in computer programming and technology .

BlackGirlsCODE heads south to Emory University in Atlanta, GA on July 28th, 2012 as part of their Summer of CODE 2012 national campaign – a program dedicated to giving girls from African American, Latino, and Native American communities the opportunity to learn valuable skills in computer programming and technology and to plant a seed that may “Change the Face” of the future of tech!
Over 160 girls aged 7-17 have registered to attend the upcoming Summer of CODE’s popular “Build a Webpage in a Day” workshop.  Atlanta is one of three cities that will be hosting a live simulcast where the girls will connect and share with other girls located in both San Francisco and Chicago.

“I wish I had had Black Girls Code when I was little. Helping to host BGC crew at Emory allows me to live vicariously though the young ones who get to participate. I’m excited about what becomes possible after such an early introduction to the creative part of web making.” –Moya Bailey, Founder of Crunk Feminists and a Graduate Student at Emory University. The Atlanta BlackGirlsCODE workshop will be held at the Emory University Woodruff Library on Saturday, July 28th from 10:00am- 3:00pm.

In this one-day, “Build A Webpage” workshop girls will learn the basics of HTML,CSS, and basic web structure. The group has partnered with Mozilla as a Summer Code Party partner and  will use Mozilla  tools such as Hackasaurus and Thimble to introduce students to web-making .  The long-term mission of BlackGirlsCODE is to introduce girls to careers in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math) and provide them with skills that will allow them to envision themselves as tech creators and builders and not merely as consumers.

The launch of BlackGirlsCODE in the Atlanta-Metro community is also welcomed by the NewMe Community – Atlanta (a chapter of NewME Accelerator), a start-up accelerator/incubator for businesses that are led by under-represented minorities in the technology industry and by Emory University. The trio partnership aims to help BlackGirlsCODE in their mission to empower and mentor young women of color by highlighting the achievements of women in technology and thereby encourage them to embrace the tech marketplace as builders and creators.

“BGC’s mission is right in line with NewMe Accelerators core values.  It’s never too early to steer a young persons mind away from consumerism to creation. With BGC’s ability to free a young lady’s potential by introducing them to web page creation and coding, their world will be greeted with endless opportunities as they grow and evolve in the digital space.   I look forward to the day the first participant is ready to pitch her first Start-up.” – Jaheed Givens, Program Organizer of NewMe Community – Atlanta

Where is the BlackGirlsCODE organization off to next?

The organization still has Detroit, St. Louis, Los Angeles, and New York to reach before the end of the summer.  Follow their progress on Twitter (@blackgirlscode) or on their website (http://www.BlackGirlsCode.com)

Cash Castle Beats in conjuction with Rapping Instrumentals has officially launched the “Blazing Hip Hop Beats the Bundle” This library is a tour de forceof original sound design, royalty free and sample free Hip Hop Production. They have a long track record of service for Film, Media and TV. The name of their production house is Cash Castle Beats.

Their instrumentals are usually priced at $1500 USD for a single non-exclusive license but they decided to release their entire premium catalog for only $2,000 USD. They are giving you 50% of each sale you generate, which is $1,000 USD. This is an amazing price and a generous commission for such a vast and huge music library. Their “Blazing Hip Hop Beats Bundle” is a great asset for any film composer, Television producer, advertising agency and website expert to own. There are 50 original instrumentals altogether and they have that big sound that usually would cost tens of thousands of dollars.

Every instrumental was mixed and mastered at Cash Castle’s state of the art studio to broadcast specifications. The dynamics in their music are due to the fact that they are advocates of the K-System created by the legendary music engineer Bob Katz. The K-System is a way to ensure that the original fidelity and dynamics are left in the music due to the true peak metering of the K-14 threshold. The music is alive and full of headroom so broadcasting experts can manipulate the gain and reduction depending on their specific needs without distorting the original mix.

Lucky Lukie and Andie Starz are Hip Hop production experts and they put their best foot forward in making sure these instrumentals are perfect for film scores, Television, media and advertisements. These instrumentals are perfect for main stream Hip Hop artists and upcoming independent artists. They are in lossless 16 bit .wav file format and are sequenced in song structure.

As an affiliate you will earn a whopping $1,000 commission for every sale you generate through Payloadz.

The actual download product is a .zip folder with two folders enclosed; each with 25 beats, totaling 50 beats in pristine lossless .wav format and a non-exclusive lifetime license in .pdf format. This license has no retail cap and is royalty free so if someone makes millions of dollars from a blockbuster movie all they are asking for is the attributed credit.

This is an amazing opportunity for affiliates that have targeted traffic already to promote this mind blowing music library. Lucky Lukie and Andie Starz made this as irresistible as possible. Their JV affiliate center is loaded with resources to help any affiliate promote this offer to their database and audience. The bundle’s target market is music production professionals that need Hip Hop beats for projects. According to the Cash Castle team these instrumentals were mixed with the professionals in mind because so much headroom was left for these experts to play with.

In their bonus they are giving away a free pair of Beats By Dre Pro Headphones for the affiliate that generates 10 sales and free iPad 64GB with WiFi to the affiliate that can generate 20 sales.

They officially launched on the July 26th. To get your custom affiliate link so you can earn your $1,000 commissions and bonuses go to http://www.rappinginstrumentals.com/JV_Affiliate_Center.html

Vaughn Anthony “Life Of A Player” Mixtape and EP

For the last 10 months, Vaughn Anthony (VA) has been reinvesting in himself as an artist and is ready to be heard as a strong, soulful force in the music industry.  With the help of his new manager, Keith Albright, “TEAM VA” was organized to independently release his highly anticipated Mixtape and EP album “Life of a Player”.  Refusing to shy away from being the younger brother of R&B icon John Legend, VA has embraced the challenge as a blessing.  Vaughn has been diligently blazing the trails promoting “Hold Me Down,” which is a powerful duet with his brother John.  In addition to working on his project, VA has been featured on major blogs, appearing at charity events, and performing at various venues throughout the country.

One avenue Vaughn is using to fund this project is http://www.Indiegogo.com/VaughnAnthonyMusic, a crowd source funding platform. “This Indiegogo campaign is about helping me help others by getting my music and story out to the masses.   At the end of the day, my aim is to entertain and inspire people through my music.”

Vaughn has put in countless hours of work to emerge beyond the shadow of a Legend.  VA has been blessed to share stages and recording studios with some of the hottest artists in the music industry.   “Music is a competitive industry and today there are so many microwave artists that don’t last.   I’ve been oven-baked and I know I have good music.  It’s important for me to reach out to potential fans and give them a reason to buy my music. I believe once music lovers learn of my hard work as a writer, singer, producer and CEO, they will have a deeper appreciation for my talent.”
